At BD Software, our training philosophy is to focus on just a few specific areas of programming language technology, in order to teach these topics as effectively as possible.

We do not try to be everything to everyone. You will find no courses here on proprietary languages, e-commerce APIs or "frameworks du jour". What you will find here is mature, up-to-date courseware covering proven, stable core technology, including language features destined for (but not yet incorporated into) ISO/ANSI language standards.

Our course authors and instructors are all career programmers who understand (and know how to explain!) this technology as well as, or better than, anyone. And, as an added bonus, we just happen to really enjoy doing it!

--- Unix/Linux Training ---

Our Unix-related seminars provide a quick introduction to certain key Unix-related topics and languages. An understanding of these topics will help your Unix-hosted developers get the most out of their development environment. With Perl's increasing importance as a web scripting language, the Perl course will be useful even to developers working in non-Unix environments. Each of these seminars spans two or three days. Each may be delivered individually or may be combined with another of the three to create a single five day seminar. All courses are equally applicable to both Unix and Linux (or just about any *nix).
